SALON/2 + Soepboer & Stooker presents: Heidi Vogels - one in between two and three - MAGAZIJN/S&S

During SALON/2 SOEPBOER&STOOKER -shop/studio/gallery- presents HEIDI VOGELS ‘Passages (or combinations)’, a selection of photo works of the publication ‘One in between Two and Three’, a project by artist Heidi Vogels. The exhibition ‘Passages (or combinations)’ of Heidi Vogels refers to the abstract notion of the spaces in between: the passageways of the vast more mental space of the image, and the actual shape of things: lines, clothes, models, streets or just a conversation.
Passages (or combinations) is a selection of photo works taken from the project ‘One in between Two and Three’. The project records three actors: Kenya, Wassim and Samanta and their daily surroundings in Barcelona (2006). To investigate the dualism between image and subject implies to give equal importance to all elements involved: to see the surroundings and the actors as if they are the same.
